I have no load problems with any other game or service. My question to you all these months after your post is, did you ever find a real solution? WG refuses to acknowledge there is any possibility their game fails to load properly, blaming anything but themselves (typical WG). Then I have to logoff and log on again to get another proper load. I did all the things I have seen mentioned to fix this bug (a bug is what it is WG.your bug), only entering through the Mod Station can I get 1 proper load. I reapplied the mods and launched the game through Mod Station. I put in a ticket, but all WG could come up with is to remove all mods (all from mod station). I started having the exact problems you mention with release of update 11.5 last Wednesday. Never had this issue until the last update but it's very frustrating. If I restart my computer, then it works normal for maybe 3 games and then goes back to it's super slow load in. It seems that I get maybe 3 long but decent load ins but then it gets worse when it comes to returning to port from a battle, or changing ships in while in port.
I have had the same long load in times myself. Also have 16GB of DDR4 on an ASUS MB.Ĥ) Finally, World of Warships is the only game that loads so slow on my computer. Only have a GeForce 960 because of wacky GPU prices these days and my good GPU died, but it is fully updated and works fine with all my other games. It has been gradually getting longer load times for some time as others have pointed out with their experience.ģ) My game is stored on a m.2 SSD with around 3,500 mb/s read times (have tested it), and have a RyAF. Kinda seems like a process priority or something like that, but I checked, and nothing appeared out of whack that I could see.ġ) Yes, I have video drivers updated, and I have ran the repair tool on the game, and just about everything else that was mentioned when this slow loading bug appeared.Ģ) I have Windows 11 Pro, and the game began loading slow even before on Windows 10 before I installed 11. Or maybe someone can tell me what's going on, lol. Now, if I start the game, and hit the Windows button and put it in the background while I come to the forums on Chrome or check e-Mail or anything else, the game loads completely in under a minute.Ī rational mind would think it should be the opposite, game loading slower if you're using more processor and memory, but it's not the case.Īnyway, I'm not complaining about it now that I found I can load the game quickly with it minimized, but I thought I would share my experience in case it helps others somehow. If I just open the game, and leave it on top with nothing else running, it takes like 5-7 minutes just for the game to load without including the login process.
